On Tuesdays, we'll introduce the kids behind "High School Confidential." Today: Danville's BARB WESTERFIELD.

"Babs" has fit in well since moving from Chicago in seventh grade. The senior is digging her final year because of "the school spirit," she said. "No matter the situation, we always stand strong as a school."

She'll get a chance to show off her Vermilion County school Thursday when she takes over our Snapchat account. Follow along by searching for "news-gazette" on the app.

Westerfield has yet to make a college choice, but in 10 years, she said she would like to be "successful in my manufacturing career at Thyssenkrupp Presta."

For more on Westerfield and the Vikings, follow her on Instagram (@love.barbarajean).
