Top of the Morning, Nov. 14, 2017

On Tuesdays, we'll introduce the kids behind "High School Confidential." Today: Uni High's UMAR HANIF.

You can follow the 17-year-old senior on Twitter: @captainumarica.

"I came up with my Twitter name around the time 'Captain America: Civil War' came out," he said. "I've always loved superheroes and superhero movies, and this was my favorite one at the time, so I just combined Captain America with my first name."

Hanif will study political science in college. In 10 years, he said he'll be "back in Champaign, trying to make a difference in the community by fighting social inequalities."

Until then, he plans to enjoy his final days at Uni High. He'll show off his Champaign County school Thursday when he takes over our Snapchat account. Follow along by searching for "news-gazette" on the app."The teachers are incredibly dedicated to their work and the students are all exceptional, bright and warm people," he said. "I've loved growing alongside them."
