Honoring the past

Honoring the past

In remembrance of Pearl Harbor Day, Frasca International had four World War II planes from its permanent collection lined up along Airport Road in Urbana on Thursday. Airport manager Tom Frasca said "we have some of our rarest warbirds out," including three that have appeared in movies. They are:

— P-40 Flying Tiger, used in "1941"

— FM-2 Wildcat, "Midway"

— Japanese Zero, a replica modified from a U.S. fighter, "Tora! Tora! Tora!"

— SNJ Texan Navy advanced trainer
