Danville woman arrested after I-74 crash

MAHOMET — A Danville woman was taken to the Champaign County Jail on Wednesday after being treated for injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 74.

Illinois State Police said about 4:30 a.m., Catlin R. Cutrone, 21, was driving east on I-74 about midway between I-57 and Mahomet, when she lost control of her car and it left the road. After rolling over, the the car came to rest on its roof.

Cutrone was taken to an area hospital, where she was treated and released.

Police said she was then arrested by a state trooper on outstanding warrants from Vermilion County. She posted bond and was later released.

She was also issued tickets for this morning's crash for driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Police said she was wearing a seat belt.
