WESTVILLE — Firefighters are on the scene of a fire to an apartment building in downtown Westville.

The building is immediately south of Latoz Hardware, behind CMS Accounting and across from the Sportsman Inn, on the east side of Illinois 1.

The street is lined with fire trucks and tankers from different departments. Both Danville and Savoy have ladder trucks on the scene.

A tanker truck from the Kickapoo Fire Protection District on its way to the blaze Monday afternoon crashed with a passenger vehicle and overturned on Illinois 1 near Ross Lane in Tilton.
