On Tuesdays, we'll introduce the kids behind "High School Confidential." Today: Monticello's FAITH RUND, a skilled senior who has enjoyed her time at the Piatt County school.

"High school isn't easy, so it's nice to know that I can reach out to any teacher or student and know that they will listen and help support me," she said. "We also have amazing school spirit."

On Thursday, Rund will take us behind the scenes when she takes over our Snapchat account. Follow along by searching for "news-gazette" on the app.

Soon, Run will be off to college. After that?

"I'd like to be travelling," she said. "I want to grow and learn about different cultures and communities. I think having a better understanding of people from around the world could do us all some good."
