Crime Stoppers | Wanted: Information on Kohl's theft suspects

CHAMPAIGN — Champaign County Crime Stoppers needs help identifying the couple involved in a retail theft at a Champaign store.

About 9 a.m. on Monday, April 23, police were notified of a shoplifting that occurred the previous evening at Kohl's, 109 Convenience Center Road, C.

Kohl's loss prevention investigators reported the thieves were seen on video concealing merchandise prior to leaving in a black or gray sport utility vehicle.

Both suspects were described as in their 20s.

The man was wearing a black jacket, white T-shirt and tan pants. The woman wore a white Levi's shirt with black leggings.

Police ask anyone with information to contact Champaign County Crime Stoppers at 217-373-TIPS, 373tips.com, or through a free app for smart phones called P3 Tips.

Tipsters are always completely anonymous when contacting Crime Stoppers.

All tips submitted are electronically stripped of any identifying information and processed by a third-party answering service, not law enforcement.

Cash rewards of up to $1,000 are paid for information leading to an arrest.

Tipsters will never be asked their names and are given a secret code number to use when checking on a possible reward.
