Crime Stoppers | Man sought in robbery of student

CHAMPAIGN — Champaign County Crime Stoppers needs help finding a man who robbed a University of Illinois student last week.

On Sunday, Sept. 2, at about 7 p.m., the student was walking on the sidewalk on Green Street between Neil and Locust streets when he was approached by a man who forcibly took his wallet.

The robber is described as a black man, about 18 to 20 years old, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a thin build. He was dressed in all dark clothing, including a black hooded sweatshirt.
