The current issue of News-Gazette Media's Central Illinois Business is now available.

Editor Christine Walsh says this issue features stories about entrepreneurs who have found ways to turn their passion into a business venture.

Among the highlights:

"Our cover story is about local filmmaker Robin Christian, who not only makes movies with some very recognizable actors but uses his skills behind the camera to help other businesses market themselves," Walsh said. "Robin came up with a very fun photo idea, and a number of people have told me it's their favorite CIB cover yet."

Walsh says another businessperson featured is Don Chambers, a cartoon-drawing farmer who now holds four patents for his ideas.

"He invented a clever way to make normally throw-away greeting cards into a product that's both functional and fashionable," she said.

With spring around the corner — the groundhog didn't see his shadow, after all — wedding season is fast approaching.

That also means Walsh is working on our annual edition of I Do (scheduled to be on newsstands March 22). The issue will be packed with the stories and gorgeous photos from the weddings of local couples, as well as some ideas and inspiration for planning the perfect ceremony and reception.
