There aren't many dull moments for Oakwood High School senior PAITON FRERICHS, who plays three sports (volleyball, basketball, softball) and keeps stats for a fourth (football).

On Thursday, our "High School Confidential" correspondent will showcase yet another sport — wrestling — as part of our "Snapchat Takeover" series. Frerichs plans to be there when the Comets send off four wrestlers ahead of this weekend's IHSA meet in Champaign.

She'll also have Principal TIM LEE explain the Twitter hashtag #ItsGreatToBeYoungAndAComet, introduce the new softball coach and show what the Vermilion County school is doing for Valentine's Day.

Follow along by searching for "news-gazette" on the app.

Frerichs, 18, part of seven county-title-winning volleyball and basketball teams, is headed to Danville Area Community College in what she hopes is the first step toward a career in neonatology.
