Two women arrested in fight at Danville's Fair Oaks housing complex

DANVILLE — Police have arrested two people allegedly involved in a fight at the Fair Oaks public housing complex.

On Wednesday, officers were notified of a video circulating on social media that showed a large fight in the 1600 block of Clyman Lane in Fair Oaks.

While watching the video, police said detectives observed two women who appeared to be beating other people at the scene with socks filled with some type of hard object, and were using them to strike victims in the face and head.

During the investigation, detectives identified two of the victims as well as the two women, who were taken into custody at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

They are Fatimal L. Washington, 21, and Alexes M. Noye, 22, both of Danville. Both have been charged with mob action and aggravated battery; bond was set at $100,000 for each.

The two victims suffered minor injuries, but one required medical attention for a laceration to her head.
