BONDVILLE – Ian Michael Bush, 18, of Bondville, passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at St. John Lutheran Church, 509 South Mattis Avenue, Champaign, with Reverend Mark Elliott and Reverend James Wright officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Mahomet. There will be no visitation. Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy, is handling arrangements.

Ian was born on December 10, 1989, in Urbana, the son of Michael and Kathy Bash Bush.

Michael and Kelli Bush survive of Champaign. Kathy Bush survives of Bondville. Also surviving are his brother, Taylor Michael Bush of Bondville; his sister, Holly Marie Bush of Bondville; his three step-brothers, Benjamin and Daniel Rogers of Champaign and Korey Robinson of Brooklyn, New York; his step-sister, Emily Rogers of Champaign; his paternal grandparents, William H. and Janien Bush of Champaign; his maternal grandfather, Charles Bash of White Heath; his maternal grandmother, Ollie Puckett of Tucson, Arizona; two uncles, Mark Bush of Champaign and Cody Bash of White Heath; his aunt, Kim (Charlie) Stotts of Greenville, Missouri; and cousins April Thiele and Nathan, Noah, and Nazareth Stotts of Greenville, Missouri.

Ian graduated from Champaign Central High School in 2008 and was enrolled in Parkland College in computer gaming graphics. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and attended St. John School from preschool through 8th grade. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed movies, video games, and music. Most important to Ian was spending time with his family.

Memorials can be made to the St. Louis Children's Hospital.
