Phillip, in his unique way, was a fervent fan of da Cubs, da Bears and the Fightin' Illini. His passion for music, friends and loved ones was unmistakable. From his early years as an accomplished youth choir member, to his recent presence on the local music scene, Phil loved playing guitar and rockin' the crowds with his unique vocals. Most recently he worked with KEC design and was a former employee of Jupiter's and Jimmy John's. He gave generously of his time to the Crisis Nursery, working on behalf of the children. Memorial contributions can be made to the Crisis Nursery of Urbana-Champaign to fund "Phil's Music Corner." His sense of humor and warmth will be remembered though his journey on this earth has ended. May God Bless...
