Vote in opposition to school tax plan

Our schools need improvement. However, we should vote against the bond issue.

There have been inadequate population growth studies. We were told by city planners that demographics presented were correct. Now we hear hundreds of new permits are issued for housing. However, population growth is steady at about 2.6 to 4 percent, according to Champaign Chamber of Commerce. This growth is partly fueled from replacing dense low-income communities with better housing.
