A mixed message from Champaign voters
It's easy to read too much into election results but Champaign voters seemed to deliver a message Tuesday: they generally are satisfied with city government but less so with their school district.
Voters returned Tom Bruno and Deborah Frank Feinen to the city council (they finished one-two in the voting and more than 500 votes ahead of the third-place finisher, Karen Foster). A third veteran council member, Giraldo Rosales, finished fifth out of the six candidates.
