Beckett, Wysocki support public good

The Feb. 5 guest commentary by Champaign County Board member Brendan McGinty on county board politics was very insightful and informative. I was surprised that The News-Gazette had not done this story.

I think that everyone in the county, especially those in District 9, should read this article. I have talked to Steve Beckett on numerous occasions and found that he truly wants what is best for the county, whether that means voting along party lines or not. Steve has never had a negative thing to say about Tricia Avery.
