Urbana smoking meeting open to all

In response to Mike La Due's April 30 letter, it should be noted that smoking is also prohibited in the Champaign City Council chambers. This is no different than the fact smoking is also prohibited at Carle.

The Urbana City Council reserved Carle's Pollard Auditorium, publicly advertised the forum and invited the public to participate. This was in order to accommodate the expected large turnout and designed not to exclude anyone wanting to attend since its council chamber lacked sufficient space.
