Support anti-smoke choices for council
I believe that we, as Americans, have the right to do as we please to our own bodies and this right should never be taken away. If you want to smoke or eat unhealthy food, that is your choice and nobody should come to your private home and tell you otherwise.
However, while you have the right to do as you choose to yourself in private, you do not have the right to inflict that decision on those around you while you are in public. A man's right to swing his fist as he pleases ends at another man's nose; so does your right to fill the public air with smoke. A public smoking ban is not fascist or taking away anyone's freedoms; it is about protecting the freedoms of those around you.
