Reversing smoke ban is not right way to go

Champaign Mayor Jerry Schweighart shouldn't fight battles he can't win.

Restoring public smoking in bars and private club will be a less-than-hollow victory because when the state ban kicks in on Jan. 1 the city will be back to square one.
