Mayor, council are backing 'pestilence'

My congratulations to Mayor Jerry Schweighart and the two new council members who successfully brought poison and pestilence back to Champaign bars. While it may be short-lived, their fearless struggle to foster disease will long be admired by those who value money over life.

In the wake of this easy triumph, while public support waxes strong, I ask that they embrace another cause: bring back lead paint.
