Profits to be made in nonsmoking venues

I have the following questions for those who claim that a ban on smoking is bad for business and bad for the economy.

First, why is the longtime smoke-free Hardee's restaurant on South Neil Street still open for business while the smoker's paradise on University Avenue closed almost a decade ago?
