Sidewalk gets cleared, then refilled by plow
One can really get warm feelings this time of the year for our wonderful city. Sunday afternoon, after Green Street was cleared, my son came and cleaned our front sidewalk of the snowdrift in order to comply with the city ordinance. Monday the street crew came by at a good clip and deposited a mix of salt and partially melted snow on the cleaned sidewalk. Should the city be responsible for the mess, or must I try to activate my 79-year-old body with a bad back to clean it?
