Federal spending is out of control

Everyone is familiar with budgets. Your church has one, your school district, your state all have budgets. The federal government has the largest budget of all.

Some tax-collecting entities are required by law to have a balanced budget. There is no such requirement for our federal government, where the proposed 2009 budget plan is billions of dollars in the red.
