Urbana school show deserves bigger stage

I attended all three performances of "All Shook Up" given by the Urbana High School Thespian/Musical Clubs. These young people did an outstanding job adjusting to their bad luck, when their auditorium ceiling couldn't hold up due to the recent earthquake.

As I watched, I was so grateful to the businesses of Urbana that came to these young performers' rescue with lighting and sound equipment to help make this show a success. The middle school stage is not as big as the high school auditorium stage, so there had to be changes to a few of the dance numbers. That was a shame.
