U.S. manufacturing needs to be retooled

The focus of the current administration should not be on saving General Motors. The focus should be on a forward looking plan retooling the auto industry as well as manufacturing in general so that we have jobs here instead of importing from China. We must have jobs that protect the planet (green). This a tall order but it is absolutely necessary.
