Health care plan raises questions
Is it just me or is this health care issue becoming more complicated than needed?
How many times during his campaign did President Obama go on about Americans having the same kind of insurance as Congress does. Now that he is in office, what is the problem?
I have not heard him mention this since he was elected. What happened to that plan? He made it sound as if it would be no problem for Americans to have that option. And now we have a few other plans kicked around, but not that one.
There was also talk that this administration was going to be transparent. He mentioned having open door meetings and even C-SPAN could come in. Has that happened yet?
Members of Congress will be returning to their districts soon and the administration would like a vote on the health care bill before they leave. Why? So they don't come back to town hall meetings and hear how displeased their constituents are with the idea of government-run health care.
I, for one, am pleased with my health care coverage and do not want the government involved in it no matter what party is in charge.
