Here's a riddle Democratic wit Tony Fabri, chairman of the Champaign County Democratic Party, and his strategists pose to lighten our mood in a hectic primary season: How many county board Democrats will it take this year to pass a $100-million-plus county budget requiring a 14-vote majority?

Answer:16.
