Voters prove they have poor judgment

The primaries are winding down proving once again that American politics operates on the same principles as a septic system. I had hoped that Ron Paul, the only candidate with a grasp of constitutional law, economics and statesmanship, may have received some recognition. This obviously didn't happen.
I was disillusioned until I remembered a few observations by others in the past. For instance, Mark Twain: "Statistics show that more fools are killed on the Fourth of July than any other days of the year. Statistics also prove that the Fourth of July is no longer enough – the country has grown so." A Hollywood mogul: "When the public walks, its knuckles graze the ground." Last is H.L. Mencken: "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public." It isn't refreshing, but it is an explanation.
