Jeremiah Wright a media distraction

Contrary to your editorial of May 4, it is not the Rev. Wright who is in a hole, let alone digging himself deeper. It is the news media, the press, The News-Gazette eagerly among them, that is trying to dig a pit to trap Sen. Obama, mustering the biggest excavators they can: pundits, talk show hosts, moderators, etc.
If Obama is playing this game, he is supposed to extricate himself from it the best he can. And so far his "best," his repudiation of Wright by their crooked double standard, is not good enough.
