Politicians aren't fighting for people

The shape this state is in and the fact they still don't have a budget is irrefutable proof of how incompetent and lazy politicians are.
The budget they do have has billions for renovating highways, theaters, and even resorts, but they're cutting funding to all services to the people. Jesus said, "What's more important, the temple or the people who worship in it?" Obviously, to our politicians, the buildings are more important and the people can sleep on a park bench.
