Beardsley area needs extra police patrols

In what area of Beardsley does Michael Motley live? Once again police were called to West Beardsley Avenue in Champaign on June 23. Motley says in the story in the June 24 paper that this area has "always been a very quiet neighborhood" in the nine years he has been here. I have been here almost six years and there are disturbances nightly.
Since the middle of May there are nightly fireworks and fire crackers, or is that a gun being shot? There have been a couple of drive-by shootings, one block south of Beardsley and Elm there was a person shot and killed, a young man shot a dog and then barricaded himself in a house, and it goes on and on.
