Gibson City Now & then

Maybe I'm a little bias when I say Gibson is the best town in Illinois. I went to school at Gibson Elementary and then onto GCMS. The year the Lady Greyhounds went to state was amazing, I was later lucky enough to have Coach Jordan(the girls coach) as a teacher and coach. The teachers here are amazing and now with the addition of the new(er) Middle school it can only get better. The new 7 million dollar Emergency Room and MRI/Radiology Department at Gibson Area Hospital gives the area the possibilty of having life saving tests right at their back door. The new Emergency room now has 8 private rooms, its also seeing 500 patients a month. The drive-in now has new movies the day they are released, which is nice because the nearest movie theater is 30 minutes away. Gibson City has been a great hometown, why not take a look??
