Danville program to discuss importance of census

DANVILLE – The Danville Y-Teens, in collaboration with the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Champaign-Urbana Alumnae Chapter, will host a census-awareness program at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Little Theater at Danville High School, 202 E. Fairchild St.
The program will inform the community about the significance of the 2010 census. A lot of government funding is dependent on the census results.
