Indiana governor to speak at GOP dinner

DANVILLE — Indiana Gov. Mitchell E. Daniels Jr. will speak at the 2011 Lincoln/Reagan Day Celebration Dinner sponsored by the Vermilion County Republican Party and Women's Club.

The dinner is being held in conjunction with Fountain, Warren and Vermillion counties in Indiana. It will be at 6 p.m. CST June 22 at the Beef House Banquet Center, 16501 North State Road 63, Covington, Ind.

"As one of the best governors in the country and with the numerous accomplishments he's achieved in Indiana, we have an excellent opportunity to learn from him and do our part to help our situation here in Illinois," said Craig Golden, chairman of the Republican Party in Vermilion County.
