Economic development group may get county money
URBANA – The Champaign County Economic Development Corp. may finally get a cash contribution from the county.
It's not a done deal yet, but John Dimit, interim CEO of the economic development group, said the county administration has agreed to include a $5,000 line item in the upcoming county budget to support the group.
