Longtime Elliott mayor resigns; trustee appointed to fill seat
ELLIOTT – The longtime mayor of this Ford County village has resigned, and a trustee has been appointed to fill the remaining six months of his term.
Marvin Beck, who has served as village board president for 10 years and has been on the village board for an estimated 40 years, resigned Nov. 1.
