Fisher establishes 2nd tax increment financing district

FISHER – Fisher now has two tax increment financing districts.

The Fisher Village Board passed three ordinances to establish the village's second district. The redevelopment area will encompass a small housing project at Hamilton and First streets, extend west to include Owl Creek and follow the creek south to West Sangamon Street. From Hamilton, the district will follow First south to East Park Street, including residential areas, and continue south of Front Street between First and Washington Streets.
