Savoy feeds store to grow into new name – big time

Gary Herzog, owner of Prairieland Feeds in Savoy, is becoming an America's Country Store franchisee. He plans to begin building a new, larger store north of his current store on U.S. 45 this month.
SAVOY – Think of it as an un-"big-box" store for animal owners.
That's the old-fashioned retailing premise Purina Mills, the animal feed company, used to launch the America's Country Store chain six years ago.
