Young offenders paying Danville back with service

Marquis Robinson, 15, of Danville waters some flowers in downtown Danville as pat of his community service sentence through the Peer Court program.

DANVILLE – Downtown Danville is blooming, thanks to a group of Peer Court participants.

The city partners with the judicial program, which aims to keep young offenders out of the court system, to plant and maintain flowers at Temple Plaza and several other locations.
