Defendant denied hurting child

DANVILLE – During more than two hours of questioning by investigators, murder defendant Andrew Drollinger described multiple falls that perhaps caused 10-month-old Macey Duewer's fatal head injuries, but insisted that he did nothing to hurt his girlfriend's daughter.

"I'm telling the truth and you're not believing me," Drollinger said during a videotaped interrogation by Vermilion County Sheriff's investigators that was played Tuesday during his first-degree murder trial. "I swear to God, I didn't do anything to that baby."
