RANTOUL – When Dustin Morgan was growing up, he constantly asked his father, 30-year Moultrie County sheriff's Deputy Harold Morgan, questions about law enforcement and catching criminals.
"My advice for my son was to choose any career other than law enforcement; it's too dangerous," said the elder Morgan. "Fortunately, he didn't follow my advice."
