Urbana adult ed program faces funding cuts

URBANA – Urbana Adult Education operates almost completely on grant funds, a patchwork of money from federal, state and local sources.
And that makes the program, which now has an enrollment of about 1,400 students, vulnerable to the whims of lawmakers.
