Volunteer workers remove garbage, invasive species from Boneyard

CHAMPAIGN – Saturday was a sunny good time for the people who cleaned the Boneyard, and the fish who live in it.

Though it might surprise some, the tiny creek is home to smallmouth bass and other species, says Tim Smith, who was doing a census while others pulled bike wheels and beer bottles out of the Boneyard.
