The housing market; slowing but steady

CHAMPAIGN – Carol and Dave Lynch put their house on the market last fall and listed it once again this spring. But after four months on the market, the two-story house at 2803 Maplewood Drive is still available.
"When I first listed the house, it was for $151,000," Carol Lynch said. "Then I went down to $148,500, then to $142,000, then to $139,900, then to $137,500."
