CHAMPAIGN – Until a thunderstorm came up Thursday afternoon that emptied the pool, Rick Wolken and his family were enjoying their first visit to the Sholem Aquatic Center.
Wolken, a rural Thomasboro resident, said he particularly enjoyed the body slide, even if his initiation was a little rough.
