Urbana man gets 18 years for robbery

URBANA – One of four participants in the armed robbery of a man and woman in an Urbana home last winter was sentenced Monday to 18 years in prison.
Kareem Washington, 18, who listed an address in the 900 block of South Lierman Avenue, Urbana, will be able to earn day-for-day good time on the sentence imposed by Judge Tom Difanis.
