Farmers seeing more bad news than good in harvest

PENFIELD – Combines are rolling and all over the area, farmers are keeping an anxious eye on the sky.

Harvest started late this year, and forecasts are iffy. In many areas, corn and beans aren't drying down well, and corn riddled by summer pests is starting to go down.
