Tolono village board to meet further on overpass, funding

TOLONO – The Tolono Village Board will meet again next Tuesday to decide whether or not to proceed with an overpass project and if so, how to pay for it.
The Illinois Commerce Commission has asked the village for a status report on a proposal to build a bridge carrying County Road 800N over the Canadian National and Illinois Central railroad track and U.S. 45. County Road 800N leads to Unity High School, Unity Junior High School and the Kinderwood subdivisions.
