Fithian woman admits stealing substance used to make meth

URBANA – Rosalie Scaggs, 38, of Fithian, was sentenced to 30 months of probation and ordered to pay $505 in fines after pleading guilty to attempted unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance.

Scaggs admitted that on Aug. 28, 2003, she participated in trying to steal anhydrous ammonia from the Allerton Supply Co. near Homer.
