Man, woman accused of using teens as prostitutes

URBANA — An Urbana man was charged Thursday with having sex with two teenage girls that he pressed into service as prostitutes. A woman working with him is also charged with recruiting the teens to work as prostitutes.
John Haywood, 46, of 4312 E. Airport Road, was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and an even more serious charge of juvenile pimping. Also charged with juvenile pimping was Pearl Bigham, 27, who listed an address in the 1100 block of Lanore Drive, Urbana. They were arrested Wednesday.
